The Universe is an ocean of energies, which are accessible to us all, for our own healing and growth. A Reiki practitioner is someone who channels the energy of the Universe and directs it in a focused way to any person, place, intention or area.
What is Reiki, you may ask?
Reiki Shiki Ryoho, or simply Reiki, is a Japanese technique of energy healing. The words “Rei” and “Ki” both imply “spiritual” and “energetic,” respectively. Dr. Mikao Usui was the first to practise it, which is why the technique is also known as Usui Traditional Reiki.
In this system, I am a Reiki Grandmaster, which means I can attune others to the Reiki energy and establish a community of healing practitioners. Traditionally, I attune individuals on three different levels. The first level is for self-healing. Level II elevates you to the point where you may help in the healing of others and perform remote healing work. Level III elevates you to the rank of Reiki Master, allowing you to instruct other Reiki practitioners. This is quickly becoming a must in today’s society!
You don’t need to be trained in Reiki to experience its benefits. In the past, it has flown through me to assist people in their employment, health, spirituality and overall life. Reiki is not an instant fix, but it brings about a subtle shift either in yourself or the surroundings. Sometimes, the situation may not turn out exactly as we WANT, but what we NEED at that point.
During a Reiki session, you may feel warmth, coolness, tingling, pins and needles, bodily sensations or nothing at all. Every session and every person are unique. Regardless of the symptoms, the energy is working through you and for you. Depending on the situation, Reiki is needed. For a fever, even one session can be enough but a chronic ailment would require it over weeks or months. What I personally love about Reiki is that you don’t need to be sitting in front of me. You can be across the globe, and a distance healing session would just be as effective!
